Best Boyfriend Ever
I love my boyfriend so much. He’s so good to me. I had him take a spin with me in my car yesterday to try and figure out what the noise my car was making was. He said it was the brakes and then went right out, with me, and bought me brakes that he said he would install. Then the two of us went out and spent the day with our friends Reba and Pete.
We went to a new movie theater out near where Reba and Pete live. It was about an hour drive for Brendan and I but we had a good time singing to the radio and chit-chatting. So, we got to the theater and walked in….and…we were amazed. The theater was so nice (it is a brand new theater). There was a bar, concession stand that sold typical movie snacks + full meals like ravioli, etc, a VIP theater, and a concierge. It was NICE. Nicest theater I had ever been too. I loved it - it was great. For the first movie we watched Puss N Boots! I’ve been dying to see the movie so I was super excited. Brendan got a hot dog and I got a pepperoni pizza (which we ended up sharing because I got full). The food was really good and reasonably priced in comparison to most movie theaters. We also had reserved seating in one of the VIP theaters which was kind of neat. The theater was smaller and there weren’t really any bad seats at all. We were in the 2nd row because the movie was filling up quickly and our seats were fine.
For the second movie we saw Hugo which was also pretty darn good. Brendan bought us fried oreos which were THE BEST OMG! So good, I’m a sucker for all things Oreo. My dog is named Oreo and she gets me weak too lol. So pretty. Anyways, there goes my undiagnosed ADHD again. Pete and Reba got fries and chili cheese fries which were also amazing. We all shared and had a great time.
The movie theater was in a relatively new shopping plaza and we went to Charming Charlies to browse. It was so nice and I want to go back as soon as possible. I didn’t buy anything - I remained strong (mainly because Brendan was like be good, lol!). But yes, it was a great time.
However, during the second movie I started to get sneezy and gross. I thought it was allergy related but then it never got any better. So I’m sick with some sort of flu. My ears, nose, and throat are all messed up. In dad’s words I’m “messed up from the chest up.”
I stayed over at his house because we got back late and I was wiped out. I woke up this morning and he installed my brakes. I even took off a tire (with lots of help). Before working on the brakes he brought me water and told me to rest because he knew I didn’t feel well. His mama made me chocolate walnut waffles and hot tea. We talked with his sister Sammy while Brendan and his dad worked on my car. Then, Brendan went to test the brakes and came back with an orange soda.
He said I was good to go and I started to get ready to go home. He walked my sick miserable butt to my car. I opened the car and saw he had went to best buy to get me a waterproof iphone case (which is perfect because I’ve killed two cell phones via my pool), protector covers, and an itunes gift card as a surprise. This was after he already ordered me a custom iphone case that will be coming sometime early in the week. Isn’t he the best? I got all teary eyed on the way home. I love that man. He’s a keeper - no doubt about it. <3
